The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the reopening of registration for the 2025/2026 national service year, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and close on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
This follows a directive from President John Mahama after an audit of the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP) uncovered significant technical and data management flaws. In response, the NSA has launched a new digital registration system designed to enhance transparency, security, and real-time identity verification.
The NSA has confirmed that all registrations completed in June 2025 have been voided due to irregularities in age and identity data. As such, all prospective service personnel must complete fresh registration using the upgraded system.
In a statement, the Authority assured that individuals who had already registered and paid their service fees will be refunded in due course.
“All previous June registrations are void. Every qualified graduate must re-register through the upgraded platform,” the NSA emphasized.
According to the revised timetable, service personnel are expected to report to their assigned institutions on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with official service duties commencing on Monday, November 3, 2025.
