The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti Morkwa, Hon. Isaac Yawson, has strongly denied allegations that he instructed Okada riders to pay GH¢300 in exchange for endorsements.
In a statement of clarification, Hon. Yawson emphasized that his name is being falsely used without his consent in connection with the collection of such fees.
He assured Okada riders and the general public that neither he nor any member of his administration has issued such a directive, reaffirming his commitment to transparency and good governance in the district.
The clarification is expected to bring relief to Okada operators and reflects the DCE’s dedication to serving the best interests of the people of Twifo Atti Morkwa.
