The New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate for the 2024 election, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as NAPO has apologized for his comparison between Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and President Akufo-Addo.
The newly unveiled running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has courted a barrage of criticisms following his claim that the incumbent President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has outperformed all previous presidents, including Ghana’s first president after independence, Kwame Nkrumah.
Speaking at a rally in Kumasi, where he was officially introduced as the running mate, the former Energy Minister described President Akufo-Addo’s achievements as unprecedented.
