The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of the Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi, effective February 20, 2026.
Clients with pending applications at the affected centres have been advised to visit their respective Regional Passport Application Centres to complete the processing of their documents.
In a statement issued on Monday, February 23, 2026, the Ministry assured the public of its commitment to delivering quality passport services. It urged applicants who require further assistance to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302-754-200 or via email at ipab@mfa.gov.gh.
The Ministry further encouraged all affected applicants to act promptly to avoid delays in obtaining their passports.
