Dunkwa-On-Offin Prophet Theophilus Boakye, Leader of the Christ Achievers Church, has called for a more structured approach to handling prophecies of national significance.
In an interview with Denkyiraman Radio, the man of God urged that such revelations be formally communicated to the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations for urgent review and possible action. According to him, events that occur in the world are often first revealed by God to His prophets. However, as with any profession, there are both genuine and fake practitioners.
“Some prophets’ methods of delivering prophecies are questionable and must be scrutinized,” he said, adding that some men of God particularly those aligned with political parties sometimes issue false prophecies to promote partisan interests, seek fame, or gain personal benefit.
Comparing the present to earlier generations, Prophet Boakye lamented that the modern day call to ministry often lacks the rigorous teaching, training, and devotion that were once standard. He attributed this decline to a disconnect between established spiritual leaders and younger ministers, blaming senior prophets for failing to mentor the next generation.
Prophet Boakye expressed support for the idea of prophets stationed within the presidency collaborating with others who receive divine revelations, to pray and seek God’s guidance on mitigating potential national crises. However, he cautioned against leaving such sensitive matters solely to parliamentary debate, warning that “mere parliamentarians” should not rely only on human knowledge when addressing spiritual issues of national importance.
