Tragedy struck at Wasa Bawdie in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region on when a popular gold buying agent, known only as Carry, was murdered by suspected armed robbers.
Preliminary reports indicate that three men, riding on a motorbike and armed with knives and a pistol, stormed the victim’s office. They launched a vicious attack, inflicting deep wounds that led to his death. The assailants subsequently fled the scene with an unspecified amount of money and gold.
The body of the deceased has been conveyed to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The police have launched a manhunt and commenced a full investigation into the incident. Authorities have assured the public of their relentless efforts to apprehend the culprits.
