Two pupils of Big Six International School in Meduma, Ashanti Region, missed their Mathematics paper in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) after being locked in a room by their headmaster over unpaid school fees.
According to reports, the candidates were scheduled to write the paper at Simms High School in Fawoade on Monday, June 16, but were unable to join their colleagues due to the incident.
The identities of the affected pupils have not yet been disclosed. The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) have not commented on the issue as of now.
