Make use of the GEA BizBox opportunity – Miss Adelaide Adom

The Ghana Enterprises Agency in Partnership with Mastercard Foundation has designed a four year Business in a Box, dubbed (BizBox) program for youths in Ghana.

This project is under the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Program (YEEP).

Upper Denkyira East Municipality has been a part of of this project for some time now but the Business Advisory at the Ghana Enterprise Agency in the Municipality has stated in an exclusive interview with Denkyiraman Radio that the turnout has been low and disappointing, judging the importance of this project and the rates of unemployment in the country.

Miss Adelaide Adom who is the Secretary General for the GEA, in the Upper Denkyira East Area urged youths in the municipality to participate in the project as it’s an opportunity for all and will help their future.

However, the Registrants who have taken the chance to participate expressed their excitement towards the opportunity and urged their colleagues to engage themselves in the project to help better their lives.

One Patrick Ofori, a patriotic fellow who mobilized youths in his area as part of promoting the GEA’s announcement to various political party executives, Churches and other stakeholders to organize youths in their respective communities for the registration to help them meet their targeted dream.
He said he knows and understands the importance of the initiative thus his effort.
