Former Municipal Chief Executive of the Upper Denkyira East Municipality, Hon. Ebenezer Appiah Forson, shared his achievements and observations from his tenure during an interview on January 10, 2021, with Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda.
He noted that the situation within the Assembly was not very encouraging at the time. Salaries for casual workers were insufficient, but improvements were made over time, increasing to 500 from a previously lower amount.
Hon. Appiah Forson highlighted the poor condition of schools during his administration, which he successfully renovated. He also mentioned his plans to establish bus stops, emphasizing that this accomplishment is part of his overall contributions to the municipality.
He concluded by urging the new administration to continue the unfinished projects and ensure the completion of all developmental programs they initiated without delay.
