A 22-year-old man, Kwame Tekyi, is in critical condition at the Twifo Oil Palm Plantation (TOPP) Clinic after he was allegedly attacked by a mob at Twifo Aboodwese in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.
The incident occurred on Monday night, December 29, 2025, at about 9:30 p.m., under circumstances yet to be established.
According to residents, the victim sustained multiple injuries during the assault and was rushed to the TOPP Clinic, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Confirming the incident to the Ghana News Agency, the Twifo Praso Police Commander said three suspects had been arrested in connection with the attack, while efforts were underway to apprehend other individuals believed to be involved.
The Police Commander condemned the act and assured the public that investigations were ongoing to ensure all perpetrators were brought to justice.
He also cautioned the public against taking the law into their own hands and urged residents to report suspected criminal activities to the police for appropriate action.
