In a significaIn a significant development for the Abesewa Community in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwoffie, the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Employment and Labor Relations, has commissioned a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHIPS) compound.
This facility represents a crucial milestone for the community, which has long struggled to access essential healthcare services. The new CHIPS compound is expected to provide a range of vital health services, including maternal care, immunizations, and health education, ultimately improving overall health outcomes for the residents.
During a brief ceremony held on November 19th, the MP was honored with a citation from the Nananom of the Dunkwa Traditional Council, recognizing his significant contributions and dedication to the Abesewa community.
Nana Kwabena Duku, the Dwantoahene of the Abesewa traditional area, addressed the gathering and praised Dr. Festus Awuah for his extensive efforts in various aspects of development in the community. He also reminded the lawmaker to keep the community in mind during his second term, as they are looking forward to voting for him.
Dr. Festus Awuah Kwoffie emphasized the government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in all underserved areas, including Abesewa. He noted that if any community in Upper Denkyira East has benefited from the second term of the Nana Akufo-Addo administration, it is certainly the Abesewa Compound community.
He urged residents to vote for him and to remember the NPP party in their prayers.
