The leadership of the Denkyira Traditional Council has expressed its profound appreciation to the people of Denkyira, individuals, organisations, churches, traditional leaders and other stakeholders whose support contributed to the successful installation of the Denkyirahene, Odeefo Boa Amponsem IV, last year.

A delegation from the Traditional Council, led by the Denkyira Gyaasehene, Barima Siaw Panin III, together with the Denkyira Sanaahene, Nana Kwasi Saara II; Barima Odiasempa Oppong Kyekyeku; Denkyira Tutuampahene; and Nana Boadu Ntiamoah of the Denkyira Heritage Foundation, appeared on Denkyiraman Radio 91.9 MHz on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

The programme was simultaneously aired across radio stations in Dunkwa as the delegation used the platform to acknowledge the collective efforts that made the installation possible.

Speaking on the programme, Barima Siaw Panin III explained that the Traditional Council had intended to undertake the appreciation exercise earlier but was waiting for the official gazetting of Odeefo Boa Amponsem IV as Paramount Chief by the government.

According to him, the delay in the gazetting process affected the Council’s planned appreciation activities. He, however, expressed satisfaction that the Denkyirahene was officially gazetted last month.

Barima Siaw Panin III further disclosed that the Traditional Council will, in due course, formally write to individuals and organisations that supported the installation to express its appreciation.

He added that the leadership will also personally visit some individuals and organisations as part of the appreciation exercise.

The Traditional Council says the successful installation of Odeefo Boa Amponsem IV was a collective achievement, and it remains grateful to everyone who played a role in the historic process.
