The former Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East, Dr Festus Awuah Kwofie, has extended Christmas and New Year goodwill messages to residents of Dunkwa and its environs.
Dr Kwofie, in an interview with Mr Justice Oppong Mensah on National Agenda, urged residents to prioritise their health by undertaking regular medical check-ups and seeking early medical care when the need arises.
He appealed to parents and guardians to pay close attention to the welfare of their children, particularly in addressing issues related to drug abuse.
Dr Kwofie also called on the media in Dunkwa to intensify public education on the dangers associated with drug-related activities, especially among the youth.
He concluded by wishing residents peace, good health and prosperity in the New Year.
