Former Municipal Chief Executive for Upper Denkyira East, Hon. Ebenezer Appoh Forson, has lauded the management and staff of Denkyiraman Radio for their outstanding contribution to the socio-economic development of the municipality over the past five years.
Speaking at the climax of the station’s 5th anniversary celebrations, Hon. Forson stated that Denkyiraman Radio has established itself as a reliable platform for public education, community engagement, and local governance.
According to him, the station’s consistent collaboration with the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly, particularly through discussions and educational programmes on revenue mobilization, contributed significantly to increasing the Assembly’s Internally Generated Fund (IGF).
He noted that the radio station played a crucial role in raising public awareness on the need for residents to fulfill their civic responsibilities, including the payment of rates and taxes.
Hon. Forson emphasized that the station’s commitment to informing, educating, and empowering the public has had a positive impact on governance and development within the municipality.
He further commended the Chief Executive Officer of Denkyiraman Radio, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie, the Board of Directors, management, and staff for their dedication, vision, and continuous support, which have contributed to the station’s growth and success.
He urged residents, institutions, and businesses to continue supporting and doing business with Denkyiraman Radio, describing the station as a valuable development partner whose contribution to the progress of Upper Denkyira East deserves recognition and sustained support.
