Denkyirahene Odeefuo Boa Amponsem IV has directed all chiefs with ongoing chieftaincy disputes in court to withdraw their cases and present them before his palace for resolution.

Speaking at his first-ever Oman Council meeting on Friday, November 7, 2025, the Paramount Chief warned that failure to comply would attract serious consequences. He explained that the directive seeks to end prolonged legal battles, restore harmony among traditional leaders, and ensure disputes are resolved in accordance with customary norms.

Odeefuo Boa Amponsem IV urged sub-chiefs, elders, and community leaders to cooperate fully, stressing that unity, peace, and respect for tradition must guide all actions.

This directive underscores the new Denkyirahene’s commitment to strengthening traditional authority and preventing conflicts from escalating through the courts.
