The Denkyira Heritage Foundation, a youth-led and gender-balanced organisation dedicated to cultural preservation and development, has paid a historic courtesy visit to Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III, Denkyirahemaa, in celebration of her 32nd Anniversary on the Stool. Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III, who ascended the female stool on 30th April 1993 at age 22, became the first literate Denkyirahemaa, embodying a bridge between tradition and modernity. Her reign has been marked by dignity, youth involvement, and advocacy for cultural preservation and progress.

As part of the anniversary commemoration, the Foundation presented symbolic gifts, including a beaded portrait of the Denkyirahemaa, representing the unity and resilience of Denkyiraman; a white kente cloth bearing Adinkra symbols of prosperity, peace, and royal authority; and crates of drinks to mark the occasion. The gestures were described as a tribute to her leadership, vision, and enduring role in uniting the people of Denkyira.

The Foundation, led by Executive Director Nana Boadu Ntiamoah and key executives, reaffirmed its commitment to working with traditional authorities, institutions, and stakeholders across Denkyira and the diaspora. It expressed gratitude to all contributors and supporters of the initiative, pledging to continue safeguarding Denkyira’s heritage while promoting unity and development among chiefdoms with Denkyira ancestry.
