President John Dramani Mahama, together with First Lady Lordina Mahama, has overseen the completion of ten Assemblies of God “Legacy Temple Projects” across Ghana.
The delivery of these facilities fulfills a key pledge made during Mr. Mahama’s 2024 campaign tour in Navrongo.
The temples are not only designed as places of worship but also equipped with modern instruments, seating, and amenities to enhance the congregational experience.
Each project also includes a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment to provide resident pastors with dignified and convenient accommodation, addressing a long-standing housing challenge.
According to the Mahamas, the initiative serves a dual purpose strengthening the spiritual lives of Assemblies of God members while ensuring church leaders are adequately supported.
As active members of the denomination themselves, the couple described the effort as part of a broader vision to reinforce religious institutions and promote community development nationwide.
