Govt not recruiting NPP footsoldiers into security services – Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie

The Law maker for the Upper Denkyira East Constituency who doubles as deputy Minister for Employment, Labour Relations abd Pension, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie, has denied all allegations and speculations from the minority camp that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is involved in illicit recruitment of NPP “foot soldiers” in to security services.

Accusations from the minority in parliament have pointed an alleged scheme where each NPP candidate is handed 30 slots for enlistment into various security service departments.

Reports has it that the move is perceive to sway the outcome of the forthcoming 2024 general elections.

However, Dr. Festus Awuah in an interview on Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda with CJ, expressed confidently that Ghanaians should disregard all accusations leveled against the sitting government.

He also took the opportunity to show gratitude and happiness for his new office as the minister for Employment and Labor Relations.

Dr Festus Awuah Kwoffie promised to work effortlessly for Ghana and its cherished people.
