The Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Denkyira West, Hon. Rudolf Amoako Gyampah, has called on government to expedite work on the stalled teachers’ bungalow and boarding facility projects at Diaso Senior High School (SHS).
According to him, the completion of these facilities will go a long way to resolve the accommodation challenges facing both staff and students of the school. Hon. Gyampah emphasized that decent housing for teachers will serve as motivation for effective delivery in the classroom, while a boarding facility will help ease the difficulties students currently face with lodging and long commutes.
He therefore appealed to the Ministry of Education and relevant stakeholders to prioritize the timely completion of the projects to improve quality teaching and learning at Diaso SHS.
