The Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East Municipality, Hon. Frederick Korankye ( Adwumawura) this morning September 6, 2023, spearhead a clean-up exercise at Wassa Akropong which was organized by National Service Personnel Association in Wassa Amenfi East as part of their week celebration.
The clean-up exercise which came off Wednesday morning started from Omanhene’s Palace throughout the principal Streets of Wassa Akropong and ended on the Wassa Akropong astro turf.
The MCE Hon. Frederick Korankye Expressed gratitude to the Service Personnel within the Municipality for this great initiative by the young and fresh graduates. Hon. Frederick Korankye again said the Assembly is pleased with the gesture by the service personnel’s which is in line with the Assembly’s vision of improving sanitation within the municipality in order to reduce the cost incurred in addressing the sanitation challenges in the Municipality.
The President of the Association, Mr. Andra Adu Gyabeng also expressed profound gratitude to the Municipal Chief Executive for Honouring their invitation to part take in the exercise. He added that they will continue to play their role so far as Amenfi East and for that Wassa Dream project is concern.
Mr. Adu Gyabeng again took the opportunity to thank the Municipal Environmental officer and members who were involved in the exercise which is also in line with the NSAPA WEEK CELEBRATION IN WASSA AMENFI EAST.
