Zoomlion in Upper Denkyira East have expressed their frustration over a year’s worth of unpaid salaries, which management has yet to address.
Several employees have reported that, despite lodging multiple complaints, the company’s leadership in the municipality has ignored their concerns.
In the meantime, management has instructed the workers to resume their duties.
One woman, who wished to remain anonymous, shared her distress with Denkyiraman Radio.
“We have been working for months, yet they refuse to pay us. We have family members and children who depend on us. We plead with them to take our situation to heart and release our hard-earned money,” she said, visibly upset.
