A young man named Obed believed to be an Armed robber has been beaten to death at Ayigbe Town in the Waija Gbawe District.
Reports gathered indicate that the young man stole cables meant for an electrification project but unfortunately for him, he was caught in the act and tied to a light pole where he was beaten severely and killed by some residents of Ayigbe.
The young man whose life had been taken was reported dead to his parents by some residents, but both the mother and father of the Armed Robber allegedly gave consent to the residents to do whatever they deemed fit to their son, as all efforts from them to make him change from his deeds have proved futile and impossible.
His parents also claimed to have been receiving repeated beating from him whenever they tried to advise him.
The body of the deceased has been taken by the Waija police command while the investigation is ongoing.
