The Minister for Local Government, decentralization and Rural Development, and MP for Okere constituency in the Eastern Region Hon. Daniel Botwe has stated that the President till date has not indicated his reasons for the dismissal of the 24 MMDCES on 2nd February 2024.
He disclosed this in an exclusive interview with CJ on Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda today 5th February.
Hon. Dan Botwe claimed the President’s decision was solely based on the development of the country to satisfy the aspirations of the people, thus his decision to reshuffle the government.
He advised that the MMDCES involved should understand the importance of the President’s decision and not politicize it, instead paving the way for the new nominees to also bring their ideas and energy aboard.
