Former Upper Denkyira East MP, Dr. Festus Awuah Koffie, has pledged financial support of GH₵10,000 for this year’s Dunkwa Yellow Festival.
The contribution underscores his ongoing interest in advancing cultural preservation, strengthening communal bonds, and encouraging development efforts in Dunkwa-on-Offin.
Festival organisers have commended the former legislator for the generous gesture, noting that the funds will go a long way to assist in preparations and planned activities for the celebration.
Marked annually on 6th March, the Dunkwa Yellow Festival provides an opportunity for residents, natives, and development partners to come together in showcasing the rich heritage of the area while promoting tourism and local progress.
