GWCL Assures Dunkwa of Uninterrupted Water Supply During Festive Season

The Dunkwa Branch Manager of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL), Mr. Joseph Peku, has assured residents of the Upper Denkyira East Municipality of uninterrupted water supply throughout the Christmas and New Year festivities.

Mr. Peku gave the assurance in a radio interview on National Agenda on Denkyiraman Radio on Tuesday, saying measures had been put in place to ensure continuous and regular water supply during the period.

He said the Company, in collaboration with a technical team from Cape Coast, had replaced all damaged water pumps in the system to improve efficiency and reliability.

Mr. Peku noted that some minor technical challenges affecting areas such as Abesewa, Compound and T-Junction had been identified and were being resolved, expressing confidence that the issues would be fixed by close of day.

He appealed to residents to use water judiciously during the festive season to ensure equitable distribution and sustainability.

Mr. Peku reaffirmed GWCL’s commitment to providing quality and reliable water services to residents of Dunkwa and surrounding communities.
