Bryan Acheampong Ends Western Region Tour With Strong Grassroots Endorsements

Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, has concluded his tour of Ghana’s Western Region with resounding endorsements from party executives, delegates, and grassroots supporters. The multi-day tour covered several constituencies and demonstrated growing momentum behind his leadership bid as he prepares to continue engagements in the Western North Region.

At each stop of the tour, Dr. Acheampong was greeted with enthusiastic declarations of support. Delegates and party leaders consistently described him as a disciplined, credible, and organisationally strong candidate capable of uniting the party and returning it to power in 2028.

In Essikado-Ketan, the Constituency Chairman made a bold public endorsement, saying:

“By the grace of God, on January 31st 2026, let us go and cast our votes for Dr. Bryan Acheampong. I declare my support as Chairman.”

In Mpohor, a delegate, Abigail Arthur, recalled Acheampong’s defence of polling station executives after the last election.

“They wanted to remove us, but Dr. Bryan Acheampong stood firm and spoke on our behalf. I have made my decision he has my full support and my vote,” she said.

Similar sentiments were expressed in Kwesimintim, where the Constituency Chairman remarked:

“I’ve put my ears to the ground and I have realized the victory is with Bryan Acheampong.”

In Jomoro, both the Constituency Chairman and the Women’s Organizer pledged their commitment, urging Acheampong to “adopt the constituency” during the party’s time in opposition. They expressed confidence that his leadership could steer the NPP to a decisive victory in 2028 if elected flagbearer.

Delegates in Tarkwa-Nsuaem highlighted Acheampong’s record in job creation and his performance at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. One delegate stated:

“If the NPP wants power, then it must be Dr. Bryan Acheampong.”

Others praised him as humble and innovative, insisting:

“There is no one except Dr. Bryan Acheampong. He is the one we will bring.”

In Amenfi East, the Constituency Chairman urged members to rally behind Acheampong, saying:

“Show your love and vote for him when the time comes.”

Across the Western Region, delegates and grassroots leaders emphasized that Dr. Acheampong embodies the unity, discipline, and organisational capacity needed to restructure the party’s base and strengthen its prospects for the 2028 elections.

His engagements with polling station executives, constituency chairpersons, and rank-and-file supporters have strengthened his image as a candidate who understands the grassroots and is committed to defending their interests.

With the Western Region tour completed, Dr. Acheampong is expected to begin his Western North Region engagements tomorrow. Supporters believe the strong endorsements received in the Western Region will bolster his campaign as he continues to build alliances and broaden his appeal among party faithful.

For many NPP supporters in the region, the tour reinforced their conviction that Bryan Acheampong offers the discipline, credibility, and organisational strength required to lead the party back into government in 2028.
