A man known for selling mobile phones in Kasoa has been found dead under the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the Municipal office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the deceased complained of severe stomach pains the previous night before his body was discovered early Tuesday morning. “He complained of stomach pains last night, but this morning we found him dead under the overpass,” NADMO’s Municipal Coordinator, Mr Adams, told reporters.
The cause of death is yet to be determined, and officials say it is unclear whether the man might have ingested a poisonous substance. The body has been sent for examination as police investigate the incident.
