The National Service Authority (NSA) has introduced a new military pre-deployment training option for prospective National Service personnel, with a pilot phase set to begin this year.

This initiative forms part of the National Service Emergency Response Readiness Programme (NSERRP), designed to promote discipline, nationalism, and physical fitness among Ghanaian graduates.

Participation in the pilot phase is open to a limited number of individuals from the 2025/2026 service cohort. Interested applicants must indicate their interest during the online registration process, which opened on June 17, 2025, and closes on July 1, 2025.

The six-week training will focus on developing discipline, resilience, leadership, and teamwork. After completing the military orientation, participants will be posted to their respective user agencies, ensuring they do not miss out on their service placements.

As part of efforts to improve transparency and security, the NSA has introduced two new features in the registration process:

Facial Biometric Verification: To enhance identity verification.

Verified Address Input: To ensure accurate enrollment.

These enhancements are expected to facilitate a smooth and secure registration experience for the 132,393 prospective national service personnel for the 2025/2026 service year.
