Kwabre East Member of Parliament, Onyina-Akyeampong Akwasi Gyamfi, has strongly condemned the alleged detention of two BECE candidates by the headmaster of Big Six Educational Complex in Meduma.

The students were reportedly locked in a classroom and prevented from taking their first exam paper due to unpaid school fees and their refusal to attend a pre-exam camp.

The MP has lodged a formal complaint with the police and is demanding accountability for the incident.

“I have sent a report to the crime officer, and I want the individual involved to be held accountable for his actions,” he stated, adding that a similar incident occurred at the same school last year.
