As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) navigates a critical phase of restructuring and rebranding ahead of future political battles, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has issued a heartfelt call for unity, maturity, and discipline within the party. Amid rising tensions and internal exchanges, he urges members to rise above factionalism and recommit to the shared ideals that define the party’s mission.
“As we prepare to reposition our Party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), we must stay focused on efforts to rebuild and rebrand,” said Dr. Bryan Acheampong.
He acknowledged the rising tensions within the party, made evident through recent exchanges on social media. While recognizing that passionate political discourse is natural, Dr. Acheampong warned that division and hostility only serve to weaken the party’s collective strength.
“What is required of us all, especially the leadership is to ensure that hope is restored through unity of purpose, maturity in conduct, and discipline in our ranks, as we canvass for renewed energy and commitment to our cause,” he stated.
Dr. Acheampong called on all party members, from the grassroots to the national leadership, to reflect on the core values that bind them: a shared vision, love for country, and a belief in a thriving Mother Ghana.
“Now is the time to rise above factions and forge a new path built on collaboration, courage, and credibility,” he urged. “Let us set aside personal differences, engage in constructive discourse, and stay committed to the principles that brought us together.”
He emphasized that the road ahead requires not just moving past disagreements, but working in unity to build a stronger and more resilient future for the NPP.
“With gratitude and resolve,” he concluded, “let us work together disciplined and united for the future of our great Party.”
