A violent attack in Nkawkaw Zongo, in the Eastern Region, has left three Fulani herdsmen dead and one person injured after unknown assailants opened fire on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred in full view of traders and bystanders, leaving the community in shock and fear.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers, who were masked and riding a motorbike, opened fire indiscriminately upon arrival. One of the victims reportedly tried to escape but was pursued and shot dead.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and no arrests have been made at this time.
The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
The incident has triggered fear and uncertainty among residents, who are now calling for swift action and increased security.
