The management of Denkyiraman Radio 91.9 MHz Dunkwa-On-Offin, together with some board members of the Mindset Group of Companies, paid an official visit to the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Upper Denkyira East, Hon. George Anane Coleman.
The official introduction took place at the MCE’s office within the Municipal Assembly premises.
Speaking on behalf of Denkyiraman Radio, the General Manager, Mr. Justice Oppong Mensah Cudjoe, outlined the station’s mission and vision to support the development of the municipality.
Hon. Coleman warmly welcomed the team and assured them of his readiness to work closely with the media. He recalled that Denkyiraman Radio was the first station he appeared on to engage with the public following his confirmation.
During the meeting, the MCE discussed some sensitive and unique challenges facing the municipality. He pledged to work diligently to address them with the support of the media and all patriotic citizens in the area.
While the discussions were ongoing, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Denkyira West, Hon. Nsiah Isaac, also paid a courtesy call on Hon. Coleman. This provided an opportunity for the delegation to introduce themselves to him as well.
Hon. Nsiah Isaac emphasized the important role of the media, describing it as a key institution in spotlighting government initiatives. He pledged not to sideline the media in his administration.
Both Chief Executives assured the team of their commitment to delivering impactful service and leaving behind an exceptional legacy.
