Gomoa Wassa Gyasehene Urges Chiefs to Prioritize Unity for Community Development

Nana Kwasi Essel Okyeahene I, the newly installed Gyasehene of Gomoa Wassa, has emphasized that unity is a fundamental prerequisite for development in Ghanaian communities.

He urged chiefs to prioritize fostering unity among their people before embarking on any development initiatives.

By highlighting the importance of unity, Nana Kwasi Essel Okyeahene I underscored the critical role of traditional leaders in promoting community development and stability.

Speaking during his coronation, he announced plans to develop Gomoa Wassa into an enviable and progressive town.

He called on chiefs to promote internal harmony by resolving conflicts and supporting one another to ensure peace and stability in their communities.

The Gyasehene also encouraged residents to work towards peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, stressing that such efforts are key to lasting stability.

Nana Kwasi Essel I, who also serves as the Director of Young Executive School and Onua Francis International School, urged the people of Gomoa Wassa to come together and support one another, stating that “togetherness brings unity and stability.”

Also speaking at the event, Obaahemaa Nana Ama Ataa III, who doubles as a basic school teacher, advised parents to use their parenting skills to help curb the growing issues of teenage pregnancy and drug abuse.

She urged parents to closely monitor their children and be actively involved in their lives to help shape a better future.
