Residents in the Upper Denkyira East constituency have commended their Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie, for the ongoing massive road construction works in the area.
The reshaping of the long-awaited road connecting Abuakwa Nkwanta to Ekom beku Wo kunu is providing immense relief to the constituents along that stretch of the road. The residents expressed profound gratitude to MP Festus Awuah Kwofie for initiating and overseeing the project.
They mentioned that the redevelopment of major roads in almost all the communities in the constituency was unprecedented and deserving of applause.
Residents highlighted that the deplorable road network at Abuakwa Nkwanta and its surrounding villages had been a major challenge for the area’s people over the years. They had previously expressed discontent with the MP, who had promised to fix the roads.
Residents along the stretch have acknowledged the MP’s dedication to addressing their longstanding concerns. They have reaffirmed their unwavering support for him and expressed their intention to retain him as their representative in the upcoming elections.
