A 28-year-old final-year nursing student, Kyere Gifty, from the Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College, has been murdered in Berekum Jinijini.
The suspect, 23-year-old Edmond Ayomah, who is believed to be Gifty’s boyfriend, reportedly committed the act after she visited him.
Gifty’s father, Pastor Kyere Jonathan, leader of the Agape Evangelical Church, has expressed deep shock and grief over the tragedy.
He is calling for justice and urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death.
Police investigations are currently underway to determine the motive behind the murder.
