The Budget Analyst Official for Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly, Madam Comfort Araba Crentsil, spoke in an interview with Denkyiraman News. She has accounted for the revenue accrued from January to September.
According to her, a notable percentage of the Assembly’s accrued revenue is used to fund infrastructure. It also supports the municipality’s services.
She said most of these projects are in villages, out of the public eye.
Madam Comfort made mention of Classroom blocks, school buildings, street lights and many more.
Again, she mentioned some challenges facing their Revenue collections sector.

she said, the target for this year was ghc1.8 million and as at September, they managed to secure 1.2 which they are hoping to reach their target by the end of the year.
