Mr. Samuel Bimfoh Danquah, parliamentary aspirant for the New Patriotic Party for Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region clears the air on petition filed against him by the incumbent MP in the constituency, Hon. K.T Hammond in an exclusive interview on Denkyiraman Radio with Chief Justice (CJ) on Tuesday 16th January, 2024.
The petition states that Mr. Samuel Bimfoh isn’t known in the constituency and has done nothing impactful for anyone individual nor the constituency at large. It also states that he is not a card bearing member of the New patriotic party, and so can’t in anyway be considered as a qualified candidate, so should be disqualified together with other three candidates. The official petition was filed to the National executive committee.
The Parliamentary Aspirant, Mr. Samuel Binfoh Danquah said all these allegations leveled against him are false and must be dismissed. He stated that he has done a lot in the constituency for people from Adansi Asokwa, from paying individual health care bills, paying school fees for parents who need help to educate their children and more.
He also said after loosing the primaries to Hon K.T Hammond in 2020, he gave out 10,000 GHC to support his campaign as well as a pick up vehicle he issued out to help but took it back after the campaign for it purpose.
Mr. Samuel Binfoh said the contest will come up and he’s looking forward to unseating the incumbent MP who had the opportunity to win in the last primaries.
