Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 24-man squad for the upcoming international window, handing maiden senior national team call-ups to Jan Gyamerah and Ronald Donkor.
Mohammed Kudus also returns to the Black Stars after missing Ghana’s previous major international assignment, while Nathaniel Adjei makes a return to the national team setup.
The squad includes goalkeepers Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Anang, with Gideon Mensah, Baba Rahman, Gyamerah, Derrick Luckassen, Adjei, Jerome Opoku, Kojo Oppong Peprah and Alexander Djiku selected in defence.
Kwasi Sibo, Caleb Yirenkyi, Augustine Boakye, Donkor and Ibrahim Sulemana make up the midfield options, while Christopher Bonsu Baah, Ernest Nuamah, Kudus, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Ibrahim Osman, Prince Adu Kwabena and captain Jordan Ayew are the forwards.
Ghana will open its 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Côte d’Ivoire on September 24 and host The Gambia in Accra on September 29.
The Black Stars will conclude the international window with a friendly against Morocco in Tangier on October 4, giving Queiroz another opportunity to assess his squad ahead of the qualifiers.
