The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Denkyira West, Hon. Isaac Nsiah, has disclosed that the GHS25 million District Assembly Common Fund allocated to the constituency has not yet been credited to the Assembly’s account.

Speaking on Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda, Hon. Nsiah explained that although the Assembly received a letter from the Ministry of Finance confirming the release of the funds, the amount is still pending allocation and has not reflected in their accounts.

He noted that the guidelines governing the use of the Common Fund align with the Assembly’s priority development areas education, water, healthcare, and sanitation echoing the government’s broader focus.

Hon. Nsiah concluded his remarks by offering words of encouragement to BECE candidates in the district. He advised them to remain focused and avoid any form of examination malpractice. He also called on invigilators to be patient and avoid intimidating students during the exams.
