Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has returned to Ghana after undergoing extensive medical treatment in the United Kingdom.
Her return marks the end of a medical leave that began following an initial consultation at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
President John Dramani Mahama earlier expressed relief and gratitude for her recovery, stating that the Vice President would resume her official duties upon her return.
In recent weeks, the Vice President’s health condition had sparked public concern and speculation, but government officialsincluding Presidential spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu consistently reassured the public of her well-being.
