The remains of Prof. Amedeke, a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have been discovered under shocking circumstances following weeks of uncertainty and police investigation.
Prof. Amedeke had been reported missing by his family, who subsequently filed a complaint with the police. Initial investigations raised suspicions of foul play, prompting authorities to secure an exhumation order.
The breakthrough came when investigators excavated a site within his residence at Gyahadze, Winneba, where the decomposed body was found.
Forensic evidence has since confirmed the identity of the remains, which have been sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
