A group of youthful New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives have picked up nomination forms on behalf of Dr. Bryan Acheampong for him to contest the party’s flagbearership race. The team completed the formalities at the NPP national headquarters in Accra before presenting the forms to former Tema West MP and Campaign Manager for the Bryan Acheampong campaign, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah.
Mr. Ahenkorah described the gesture as a strong display of trust and commitment to Dr. Acheampong’s leadership ambitions, noting that youth-led initiatives reflect belief in a leader who can unite the party, deliver on promises, and secure victory in 2028. He pledged that the campaign would focus on unity, competence, and tangible results for both party and country.
Some members of the group cited Dr. Acheampong’s achievements in public service particularly in the agriculture sector as proof of his discipline, strategic vision, and capacity to lead the party to victory in the next general elections. Political observers say the move gives Dr. Acheampong early momentum among grassroots members ahead of what is expected to be a fiercely contested primary in January 2026.
