Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and STC Boss, Nana Akomea, stated in an exclusive interview on Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda that the NPP lost the recent election due to disappointment among the grassroots caused by the party executives.
Nana Akomea explained that many party loyalists chose not to vote in the 2024 general elections because of their anger and disregard for party leadership and activities. He believes this contributed significantly to the NPP’s loss.
However, he reassured that the party executives are implementing measures to address this situation, aiming for a strong comeback in the 2028 elections.
Additionally, he expressed hope that President John Dramani Mahama will fulfill his promises within the 120 days he assured Ghanaians.
In conclusion, he voiced his concerns regarding certain individuals from the NDC who are planning to shut down the STC, citing the end of the Nana Akufo-Addo government.
