Black Stars coach Otto Addo is anticipating a large turnout at Baba Yara stadium to support the team in their important match against the Central African Republic. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Addo urged fans to show unwavering support as the team faces their opponents in Kumasi on Monday at 19:00 GMT.
Addo recalled the electric atmosphere in Kumasi during Ghana’s last game against Nigeria, emphasizing the crucial role the fans played in motivating the team to secure a vital draw and a spot in the World Cup.
“I was truly overwhelmed by the support we received last time we played here. It exceeded my expectations,” Addo said. “Support should be unwavering, regardless of the outcome, and Kumasi has consistently demonstrated this loyalty.”
