“It is important that we advocate for equal opportunities” – Daniel Egya-Mensah

The General Manager for Persus Mining Ghana Limited, Mr. Daniel Egya-Mensah has advised that people should desist from the outdated notion that women belong solely in the kitchen or can be housewives only.

He stated this at the International Women’s Day program organized by the Persus Mining Ghana Limited held at Denkyira Breman Pentecost Church, today 19th of March 2024.

According to Mr. Daniel women across the globe have made remarkable strides towards achieving their goals. Lots of women have taken up male dominated roles and jobs and they’re doing great things.

“It is important that we advocate for for equal opportunities”, he added.

Also at the program, was the Upper Denkyira West District Chief Executive,Hon. Richmond Kodua.

He urged the Persus Mining Limited to prioritize women in terms of all employment opportunities available and also invest in women to accelerate the development of Upper Denkyira West.
