The Chief of Denkyira Akropong, Osabarima Kofi Wiah II, has donated 50 dual desks to Amankye Ansah Junior High School in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality of the Central Region to enhance teaching and learning conditions.
Prior to the donation, overcrowding was a major challenge, with three to four students sharing a single desk, hampering comfort and effective learning.
At the presentation ceremony, Osabarima Kofi Wiah II reaffirmed his commitment to improving education in his traditional area, announcing plans to construct modern toilet and washroom facilities for the school to improve sanitation. He also pledged to donate an additional 50 desks soon to fully resolve the school’s furniture shortage.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Gladys Marco Owusuaa, expressed deep appreciation for the Chief’s continued support and dedication to education in the community.
