Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr Bryan Acheampong, has formally filed his nomination to contest the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2026 Presidential Primaries.
Addressing supporters, Dr Acheampong declared his readiness to serve both party and country, stressing that he had been tested in difficult times and delivered. He described his bid as a call to duty, highlighting his commitment to offer himself once more for the future of the party and Ghana.
He reflected on his journey from humble beginnings to public service, recalling his childhood struggles and his rise through business and politics. Dr Acheampong argued that his personal story and record in grassroots activism, policymaking, and governance position him as a leader with proven capability and grounded vision. He assured that his life experience equips him to understand the transformative power of opportunity for individuals, families, and communities.
