The Prestea Magistrate Court has remanded 29-year-old David Anane into police custody for allegedly stealing roofing sheets and other construction materials from the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) at Bogoso Akokobedi Aburo in the Western Region.
Anane, who pleaded not guilty, was apprehended on May 12, 2025, along with an accomplice known only as “Ebony,” who managed to escape arrest.
The court, presided over by His Lordship Iddi Adama, has adjourned the case to June 5, 2025, to allow the police time to locate and arrest the second suspect.
