CENTRAL REGION WILL GET PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM NEXT YEAR- MR. OTIEKU DUNCAN

The Central Regional Football Association Chairman, Mr. Robert Otieku Duncan, has revealed that his next project is to make sure next year Central Region gets the Premier League team. This came up in an exclusive Interview with Mr. Charles Frimpong (Layers) head of Sports at Denkyiraman Radio on Agro Ne Fom.

He highlighted that when he took office in 2019, there were two premier league clubs namely Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmira Sharks in the league but as it stance now all of them have been relegated.
“ My next project is to make sure next year we get a premier League team in the Central region, I have said it several times and I’m saying it here too and access me by that, next year Central Region will get Premier League team “. He added.

The Central Regional Football Association Chairman also opined that the Central Region is one of the poorest Regions in terms of Football especially Upper Denkyira East and West.
Mr Duncan elucidated further that Central Region Football is not financially stable and therefore commended the GFA President, Kurt Okraku, for at least contributing to the running of Football in Central Region.
