Police Investigate Fatal High-Speed Crash in East Legon That Claimed Two Lives

The Ghana Police Service has conducted an investigation into the tragic accident that took place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Dzanie Ashie Street in East Legon, Accra, which resulted in the loss of two lives.

The horrific accident reportedly occurred when a minor crashed a Jaguar into an Acura at high speed, causing a fire to break out immediately.

According to the police, their initial investigation suggests that the driver responsible for the crash, identified as Salifu Amoako, collided his vehicle with another on Dzanie Ashie Street in East Legon. Both vehicles caught fire and were completely destroyed.

The police have not yet released the names of the deceased individuals at this time. However, they have stated that the bodies of the victims have been taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
